What we leave behind

 The ceramic spine made from the offcuts of clay laying around my studio and a ball of hair made entirely from the collection of strands off the carpet of my bedroom. 
One made. Hard and brittle. Imperishable and born of fire. The other is soft and bouncy. Grown individually and slowly turning to dust. Strange to think that small ceramic spine will outlast us all.
